The Wio-Mio Floor Lamp has so many great features, from being able to change the brightness to changing the color temperature with one magnetic controller. It has a touch sensor on the body itself that can change the brightness quickly, and the light has a flexible gooseneck that can be moved anywhere in a 360° angle. Those are just a few features included with this great product that has amazing value. So if you're looking for a floor lamp that not only illuminates the room but can match your mood or what you are doing, look no further than the Wio-Mio Floor Lamp!
First Impression On The Wio-Mio Floor Lamp
I have a dark corner of my living room that I've been looking to illuminate for a while now, and I came across the Wio-Mio Floor Lamp and thought that it is so adjustable and versatile, I'll give it a go. After it was delivered and I went to open it, I have to say that it was a pain in the rear end to get all the plastic off the pole sections, but after that, it was a breeze twisting them together (just be careful with the cord). Once you get the main body all attached, you just have to install the body to the base, then connect the adapter and you're ready to go.
The floor lamp comes with a magnetic controller (and 2 AAA batteries) that you can attach to the body of the lamp for convenience. The floor lamp itself is very customizable, for example, you have to ability to choose brightness levels from 5% to 100% as well as color temperature, from which there are 4, and those are 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6000K. With all these customization options, I find that the quick settings on the controller is a great time-saving feature to have.
The floor lamp's base has some good weight to it, though I do have it in a corner so I'm not worried about knocking it over or anything like that. However, I do notice a lot of sway whenever I grab for the remote, so it's probably best if you don't hit it.
I do like that the light head comes with a flexible 360° adjustable gooseneck that will stay at the angle you choose. It's great to be able to have that kind of control to adjust it at a moment's notice. There is also a touch control for quick adjustments in brightness or change of color temperature, and if you need, you can just turn it off all by using the touch control. The touch control is close to the base where the gooseneck attaches to the body.
I really like every about this light except how it looks. The aesthetics are a little too I want to say industrial for my liking, however, that is just my personal taste. The Wio-Mio Floor lamp does come in 4 different colors, so you can find the color that fits your style.

The Wio-Mio Floor Lamp that I purchased came in a black matte color, and it was all metal except for the flexible gooseneck and the LED lamp. The base has a little weight to it, however, I do have to say I'm worried about how much it sways just by grabbing the remote, so just keep that in mind. Other than that, it's sleek and it's functional.
The controller is magnetic, so you can just pop it onto the body for easy reach and control. The controller has 6 scenes to choose from that will match just about anything you are trying to do with it, and if you aren't quite happy with it, you can use the adjustment buttons to increase brightness or change the color temperature. The memory function comes in handy in this situation as well, so that you don't have to worry about having to set it up again, because it saves the last settings you used.
There is also the power button and a neat button that will count down for an hour and then auto shut off after. The 1-hour button comes in handy if you're getting ready to sleep and don't want to have to get up to turn it off, or just about any time when you're only gonna use it for a short amount of time and want it to turn off by itself! Once you click the 1-hour button, you will see the controller light up red right above the 1-hour button, as well as the lamp itself will turn off for a second, then turn right back on
The Good & The Bad
The Good:

Touch Control- Easy brightness adjustment, as well as being able to change the color temperature and turn it off just by using the Touch Control.
Magnetic Controller- Adjust everything on the lamp by using the controller that is magnetized for convenience
Memory Function- Remembers the last settings you had it adjusted to, so that the next time you turn it back on, it goes right back to those settings.
Flexible Gooseneck 360° Movement- Move the LED light in any direction that you need illuminated.
The Bad:
Lamp Sway- This floor lamp has a good amount of sway, which makes me feel uncomfortable at times.
Aesthetic- I am not a huge fan of the look of it, however you do have 4 colors to choose from so that helps
Final Thoughts
The Wio-Mio Floor Lamp has many great features and a lot of options to choose from when it comes to illuminating a desired location. It has 6 different scenes mapped out on the controller for different situations, and those too can be tweaked with to find the perfect light that you are looking for. If you are looking for a floor light that has an abundance of features that won't hurt your wallet at the same time, then the Wio-Mio Floor Lamp may be the perfect fit for you!
