The Voltage:

The Perixx Periboard 330B is a great full-sized ergonomic split key keyboard that is great for getting things done with ease. It comes with a scroll wheel in the center and two USB ports on the left side. The keys have a great feel to them and they are able to maintain a nice quietness. I did find two issues while using the 330B and those are that the fast-forward and rewind media keys don't seem to work and if you're not used to using a split key keyboard there is a bit of a learning curve that comes with that. Other than those two things everything else about this keyboard I find great and would recommend this as a great purchase!

Perixx Periboard 330B Review

The Perixx Periboard 330B

The Perixx Periboard 330B is an ergonomic and practical keyboard that is an amazing tool for increasing your productivity with comfort and ease! The Perixx also has something else that I love and that is the quietness of the keys. I hate listening to all that clacking that most gaming keyboards have nowadays and I love that I can type in peace. But let's dive a little deeper into this keyboard shall we?

Form & Button Layout

The Perixx Periboard 330B is a split key designed full keyboard that has an interesting addition to the center where it has the icons for Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock, as well as a nifty little scroll wheel! The Scroll wheel in the center lets you move up and down as well as side to side by pressing the wheel to the side you desire. You also have the extra feature of having two USB ports on the right side of the keyboard which is a very appreciated addition. I'm thankful that the arrow keys are laid out in pyramid style because the arrows on the Perixx Periboard 512 are fashioned in a diamond shape.

The keys give a very tactile feel when pressed however they are still pretty quiet. The F keys have a multipurpose by hitting the Fn key first and then hitting one of the F keys gives you their second function which is shown by the symbol on the bottom left of the F key. There is also a light button after the F12 key that switches between three light options which are off, dim, and bright. There is also a dedicated multimedia set of buttons located above the Num Pad that helps while navigating or watching videos. The 330B also comes with a 5.9 ft cord which comes in handy if you have your pc set up a little further than where your monitors and such are.

Comfort Options

I love that the 330B is not only ergonomic but also gives you the ability to customize the angle at which you want to use this keyboard by the use of a neat little magnetic base. This addition gives you a third option on an angle that you can try which is called the neutral wrist position. This is where the position of your wrist because of the magnetic lift makes your wrist level which should alleviate wrist pain from typing for an extended amount of time. The other two positions are what normally come with any keyboard and those are the positive tilt (open the footstand on the bottom of the keyboard) and the flat straight (leaving the footstand closed). This allows you to use this keyboard the way you feel the most comfortable. I normally have always stuck to the flat strait position but to each their own.

The Good & The Bad

The Perixx Periboard 330B center

While I've been using the 330B I've only come across a couple of things that I would call issues. One of these "issues" would have to be the media buttons on the top right corner. I tried it on YouTube as well as on Netflix and some other streaming sites and could not get the rewind or fast-forward buttons to work at all, however, the play/pause and the stop button worked ( though once you hit the stop it won't play when you hit the play/pause button. The only other issue that may come up is the learning curve for using a split keyboard. It's something that you'll probably get over rather quickly but I still consider it a con.

Now to the positives! The Perixx Periboard 330B is a nifty full-sized keyboard that gives you three options in the angle of the keyboard to help you find the most comfortable setup for you. The scroll wheel is a great addition I love being able to scroll up or down without having to touch my mouse. I also love the ergonomics of this keyboard. The way it is built really makes it comfortable to use. The Two USB ports on the side of the keyboard are a great addition (I find myself using it to charge my wireless mouse). The quietness of this keyboard as your using is a great feature as well. The last thing I'm going to talk about is that I really like that it has a simple 3 options for light settings and not all the RGB lights that most keyboards have nowadays (I may sound like an old man but it is what it is).

Conclusion

In conclusion, I must say I've been quite taken by this keyboard and it ranks up there on my favorite keyboards. I think it's a great solid option if you are looking for a keyboard that is as productive as it is comfortable to use. The only issues you may come across is that some of the media player keys don't work as intended and the learning curve of using a split key keyboard. However, the scroll wheel and the two USB ports on the left side of the keyboard are great features that I'm sure you'll find use for down the road. With all that said I don't think you could go wrong with getting The Perixx Periboard 330B for productivity and getting work done!
